As usual, this is across the road, but we
do have a fir that is mostly beyond its time.
We hate to see it go and have procrastinated
cutting it down while there is still even a
little hint of life there.

Thanks for looking in Eileen!

Beautiful capture and tribute to this wonderful tree!
I have shed tears, even over dead trees that have fallen on our property, as they are valuable spaces for many birds to perch.

About Doesiedoats

Doesiedoats

I’m a native Oregonian, born in Tillamook and reared in the greater Portland area. After working in the Bay Area in the semi-conductor industry as a Human Resources Representative, my husband and I retired in 1999, returned to Southern Oregon and settled in the Williams area. Photography interests started early on with a Kodak Box camera and later a Kodak 616 given to me by my father, a semi-professional photographer. After many years of film cameras, the advent of digital photography has expanded my interest in the hobby. My camera is the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100. The Pacifica Gardens property has become the preferred subject of my photography because of its natural beauty. I have captured all four seasons over the past twelve years. I’m pleased to be able to share some of those photos with my WU friends. Please visit my web site via the link below.************************************************
