Very sweet, love the b&w, too!
How is there not an AC in this series?! :(

Oh, too, funny, Julia! The auto correct on these new fangled laptops gets me into trouble more times than not. I meant to type "dear", but got "deer" because the auto grammar said I needed a noun! Glad it was only a humorous mistake, and nothing serious. *grin*
I wish I could blame my laptop for all my errors like that!

Between knobby fingers, my spotted eyesight and
memory like sieve, I make more mistakes, typographically, thank I care to think about.

Deer Wilma, all is forgiven!

Julia, your image is next to Susan's, and I just told her that her frozen drop photo is ART. Well, it appears I have to say the same once again --
This is ART! A perfect B&W - great contrast, appealing subject, and excellent composition.
Snow Foolin' is terrific, too: Like the diagonal & vertical lines.

This is one great critique, Betsy, and I appeciate
it deeply. It is so very nice to hear not only
that one enjoys the shot, but also why it is good/liked
by someone. I would, however, appreciate any comments
that tell me what is wrong/not right with any shots.
We only learn from our mistakes and successes.

Quoting Kennebunker:
What a great pose that sweet deer struck for you, Julia! Perfection! Sure hope that was an apple that she found waiting for her in the tree.
Oh, Wilma, I hate to disappoint you,
but that is not a deer. It is one of the mules from
the herd of equines across the road. But, yes,
it certainly gave me ample opportunity to catch
the shot.

Thank you both Betsy and Wilma, so very much for your notes.

About Doesiedoats

Doesiedoats

I’m a native Oregonian, born in Tillamook and reared in the greater Portland area. After working in the Bay Area in the semi-conductor industry as a Human Resources Representative, my husband and I retired in 1999, returned to Southern Oregon and settled in the Williams area. Photography interests started early on with a Kodak Box camera and later a Kodak 616 given to me by my father, a semi-professional photographer. After many years of film cameras, the advent of digital photography has expanded my interest in the hobby. My two favorite cameras are the Nikon Coolpix P500 and the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100. The Pacifica Gardens property has become the preferred subject of my photography because of its natural beauty. I have captured all four seasons over the past twelve years. I’m pleased to be able to share some of those photos with my WU friends. Please visit my web site via the link below.************************************************
