Julia: nice contrast in so many colors! Very serene scene -- and I like the diffused trees in the background. Joan

I know, Sharon. It's tragic and pathetic,
but people need to be aware of those who
do not care what they do or to whom.

Thanks for dropping by anyway.

I was enjoying your photo and shouldn't have read the comments. Now I feel nauseated.

Thanks, Arlene, for your information and
adding the good that comes with some, actually,
most people.

There are good people too, someone gave him a mini horse in place of this one so his grandkids (who were understandebly devastated) would have a little one to rise.

I guess they have some leads but that is all I know. We also had a man who had way too many horses and they finally took them all away but had to do away with some who were too far gone to help. I cannot understand how anyone could do such a thing and I'd like to tether them to a car and pull them along too.

Oh, my, Arlene, I can't conceive of anybody being
so horribly cruel, but I know it happens, more the pity.

I also hope the "Idiot" was caught and prosecuted fully.

There has been a case in Josephine County of a woman in
Cave Junction who was hoarding animals that included 170
mini horses plus I don't remember how many dogs, cats,
goats, etc. She has stood trial and is on probation and a
mandate that she never have any animals in her possession.

Thank you, Arlene, IA2VA and Betsy for looking in and writing.

Some idiot in the northern part of our state took a treasured little mini horse, tied it to a vehicle and pulled it down a road unil it was dead and one side stripped of fur and face. Can you believe anyone would do that??It sickens me to even think of it.
