This seemed to be a composite of several
adults as well as all the young. Looked
like another case of combined community.

Clever title for these turkeys, Julia! A few summers ago we had a pair hatch about 13 young; morning and evening they would make the rounds of our property. By summer's end they were down to 7 I think. I haven't seen any young since then, though there are plenty of adults around.
