Williams, OR (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: The winds have brought a new batch of smoke to our area (note mountains in background). A 20-acre flare-up Wednesday afternoon in the Big Windy Complex burned deep in the canyon where Howard Creek and Anna Creek converge. The flare-up pumped heavy smoke into northern Josephine County. To date, the fire has consumed 25,775 acres. Meanwhile, The Labrador Complex continues to smolder.

Thanks, Delana.

The fires are being contained and are long
way across the mountains from us. It's just
the smoke that gets blown into our area.

I don't know why, but looking at this prettiest shot gives me a bunch of joy and excitement! There must be something that reminds me entering the village when going to see my Granny... I don't know... Just wonderful! Favorites and 10!

Hi, Carl,

Yes, I plan to keep watch on the sunset and
when the moon gets near the horizon tonight.
They both should be very colorful.

Thanks, kitty is well ... so far ... and will
be if she ever learns to let me sleep beyond
5:30AM.

I appreciate your dropping by. Thanks!

About Doesiedoats

Doesiedoats

I’m a native Oregonian, born in Tillamook and reared in the greater Portland area. After working in the Bay Area in the semi-conductor industry as a Human Resources Representative, my husband and I retired in 1999, returned to Southern Oregon and settled in the Williams area. Photography interests started early on with a Kodak Box camera and later a Kodak 616 given to me by my father, a semi-professional photographer. After many years of film cameras, the advent of digital photography has expanded my interest in the hobby. My camera is the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100. The Pacifica Gardens property has become the preferred subject of my photography because of its natural beauty. I have captured all four seasons over the past twelve years. I’m pleased to be able to share some of those photos with my WU friends. Please visit my web site via the link below.************************************************
