Thank you, James, Helen, SunRiseLvr
and Marijka.

Everybody is entitled to at least one
bad hair day. Unfortunately, I think
every day is his bad hair day.

What a fantastic close-up photo of this Kingfisher, Julia. I have tried and tried and tried to get a good photo of one but they don't sit still for very long. GREAT capture.

Thank you all for your very nice
comments.

Carl: Kitty was hiding behind the chair!
I took this through the drapes on the
sliding glass door in the livingroom.

They are a very interesting bird,
but they are also noisy and leave
our pond divested of fish.

Oh, well, I guess that's what nature
is all about.

Thanks, Leslie, for looking in.

About Doesiedoats

Doesiedoats

I’m a native Oregonian, born in Tillamook and reared in the greater Portland area. After working in the Bay Area in the semi-conductor industry as a Human Resources Representative, my husband and I retired in 1999, returned to Southern Oregon and settled in the Williams area. Photography interests started early on with a Kodak Box camera and later a Kodak 616 given to me by my father, a semi-professional photographer. After many years of film cameras, the advent of digital photography has expanded my interest in the hobby. My camera is the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100. The Pacifica Gardens property has become the preferred subject of my photography because of its natural beauty. I have captured all four seasons over the past twelve years. I’m pleased to be able to share some of those photos with my WU friends. Please visit my web site via the link below.************************************************
