can I, at this late date, add my appreciation of such a handsome lad? (and his equine/human daddy's appreciation of him) They are both worth a hand clap or two but Rowdy has my heart!! He is gorgeous! (and a handful I bet!)

Thank you, Jill.

There will be, from time to time, photos
of our babies...well, they aren't exactly
babies, but you know what I mean.

Thank you very much Rodney, Donna and Heidrun.

Donna, I am so very sorry to hear about
your loss of Synbaad. Believe me, we know
how that feels.

Silver's mare, Foxie, died very suddenly
in 2008. Then my elder mare, Tillie,
left us in 2009.

I'm quite sure we will see more of Rowdy,
Rai and Kazzy on WU.

My daughter & I have watched for Rowdy photos ever since he was a baby.He reminds me so much of my arab Synbaad (gelding)that I lost in 2001 to an undiagnosed fever.
Blk when little, then fleabitten at 5 yrs. He Was definitely a people horse. Loved kissing.

To Catilac -

And to top it off - Rai (Rowdy's Dam) is only 14 hands - probably because she was a range horse in south central Oregon for her first 4 years.

Cute shot Julia, and Congratulations!
I used to have a Quarter Horse that was 17 hands tall and I had to get on the fender of my horse trailer to get on him, and you didn't get off unless you had a place to re-mount :))

No, Kim, Rowdy is a bottomless pit!

Actually, he's a blooded registered
Arabian Stallion. Now stands 15.5 hands
and about 900 pounds.

Thanks for dropping by, Kim!
