Sometimes life has a better plan in the burgeoning springtime;
Snow was around this survived bud, too, but the frosts were over.
Thank you your kind attentions, comments!

The plant appears to be frozen - I took the title "sometimes life" to mean that sometimes life does that to us. Yes, it does - and I agree that it's beautiful and sad at the same time. (But I'll bet this plant will try again when it's warmer and make it!)

It reminds me of Eduard Munch's "der Schrei." It is both beautiful and sad at the same time.

About Danube

Danube

'Danube' (András Juhász): I am a photographer interested in the visualisation of the effects of suddenly appearing solar wind storms. At the same time my colour rich photos also want to mirror the Carpathian Basin's atmosphere, the natural beauty of its wide open spaces and its versatile Cultural Heritage. I return rarely, only when I have something to say about the matter under discussion, and also when I have a great time enjoying myself producing something worthwhile. Thank you for your friendly visit. Goodbye!
