We have a glass cone that has mostly been demolished in town but this one looks great. Still in use?

Thanks for comments and votes, this is one of a very few Pottery Kilns left in Burslem, Stoke-on-trent. My Great Grandfather was a Sager maker here. Sagers are the plain bisket pottery containers that fine china was fired in. As a Sager maker he had an assistant who helped form the base of the sager, his job was called "Sager-makers bottom knocker" not many of those left!!

About Cowgazer
Cowgazer I am Peter, brought up in the center of Manchester, UK. But was a square peg in a round hole there, worked 33 years as stockman in dairy farming then made redundant. Luckily got a job managing a garden nursery for a couple of years, but had to leave as tenancy came to an end. Couldn't find work so relocated to Wales and am now a self-employed gardener, great move, good things come out of hard times. Digital tech has made photography affordable to me and I love it, compliments my walking and Birdwatching. At present on a steep learning curve, new things are always good, stretch your mind and keep you sane-ish.
