Thanks everyone for taking the time to comment and rate, also for the blue border. We have two groups of Starlings visiting, our local breeding population and migratory flocks from Eastern Europe. The European birds roost in their tens of thousands in a read-bed about seven miles from here, they will depart in mid March.
amazing shot Peter..love it..we had these here BRIEFLY (thank goodness) a few weeks ago..very rowdy birds who cleaned our feeders out in short order! love this!! AC congrats..:)

About Cowgazer
I am Peter, brought up in the center of Manchester, UK. But was a square peg in a round hole there, worked 33 years as stockman in dairy farming then made redundant. Luckily got a job managing a garden nursery for a couple of years, but had to leave as tenancy came to an end. Couldn't find work so relocated to Wales and am now a self-employed gardener, great move, good things come out of hard times. Digital tech has made photography affordable to me and I love it, compliments my walking and Birdwatching. At present on a steep learning curve, new things are always good, stretch your mind and keep you sane-ish.
Update: Congratulations!
Congratulations!
Oh and I love that she has little hearts all over her. Sweet
creature. Excellent example of the Starling.
