Chief Hosa, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: I have had kind of a strange time since I have been back from the farm, some bad news, some negative moments with people, plus I have been very busy with an annual paperwork happening, but Tuesday I couldn't take it anymore. A short errand that should have lasted 10 minutes and been a 4 mile round trip ended up being 45 minutes and a 25 mile round trip because I just HAD to see the mountains and so I did. I'm glad I did. I have felt MUCH better! This view is good medicine for me!:-)

CONGRATULATIONS on this beauty, Kat !
Sorry I`m so late- but better late than never - I`m pretty wrapped up and busy since we came back home - if that can count as an excuse !
Love the mountain layers crowned by the lovely dusting the peaks got and show off their beauty that way !

Good for you Kat! Taking that short trip seems to have done wonders for you. Glad you took it.
I've done similar things many times. Just a short drive of 10 miles to the gorge. Half the time I don't see any animals, but it don't matter. Every trip is the same, but yet it is all different. You see different things that have been there, but you happen to notice something you hadn't paid attention to before. then you'll remember it as a different outing. You get that good feeling, because something was different no matter how many time you've walked by it.

This is a very beautiful photo. I love your mountains. Congratulations on this great AC View.

A change of scenery and surroundings is just what the doctor ordered and as you said it has the effect of making the good things come to the front. Very pretty shot and I love mountains.
