Dillon Reservoir, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: I always stop and check out Dillon Reservoir. The shot I usually take with the two pretty mountains in the distance did not turn out and it's okay, because you couldn't see the mountains for the heavy rain. It was not raining where I was, however. This is looking back East toward the Continental Divide, which I just came over through the tunnel. Still raining up there, but clouds were thinning and light showed through.

Great photo Kat. In a few times we've been thru Dillon, we've grabbed a bite, and then eyeball the Reservoir.
Congratulations on this AC!

Yes, Heidrun, I like that, too..when the sun selects
just a couple of spots to shine on while the rest
of the scene still looks stormy. Thank you!

It was quite rainy going over the Divide, but that
was it, Eileen. From the point of this photo on,
it was dry roads and warm, even hot.
