Delta, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: I was glad to get off that narrow road (path, trail??) and to see water and greenery! I stopped and took this picture. It was beautiful..I thought. Now, it was just a matter of getting to the other road and heading home. First..this beautiful stream crossed the road twice. It wasn't too wide, so I drove through it. But then Escalante Creek crossed it and it was fast and deep. No way to drive through. We had to go back the way we came. Yep.

It was fine, Linda! After I drove back through the
stream twice, I let Bud drive it up that steep,
narrow part. I kept my eyes closed because the
drop-off was on my side now. LOL It was on the
way down, too, but I was too busy driving to look!
Once we got to the top, I drove the rest of the way.
It was all good and a nice adventure!

Reminds me of days when my father would take us on a ride looking for a place like this to stop and picnic and play baseball at! Nostalgia! Beautiful, Kat. I hope the trip back was not too long!
