I enjoyed the series, but this is the pearl. I like the way you caught the B&W ice, with colors in the background - this is one I'm going to have to try for myself.

Thanks, Julia! This wasn't bad... several years ago, before I had a digital camera, there was an ice storm here that turned all the trees to silver. Can't say I hope for that again, but if it happens, at least I'll be ready, LOL!

Wow, that really is iced over. I haven't seen
anything like this since I was a kid in Portland
Oregon in the mid 1950s when we had a Silver Thaw.

Thanks! I know it doesn't make a very impressive thumbnail, but looked at close up, the ice is very delicate and lovely. I took a lot of pictures; this was one of the survivors.
