Thanks, Dianne! We had another heavy frost this morning (Friday) and supposed to have a hard freeze tonight. I've been busy all afternoon picking the last of the produce and pulling out the plants, not to mention mowing... ah, the end of year chores, LOL!

Thanks, hoothoot, mrwing, and Betsy! This frost is not really early and shouldn't be in VIP. Maybe some of the more northerly areas are late?

Amazingly, you beat NH by a day or two. Is that strange? Clever --

Definitely full autumn now, Delana! I just wish the leaves would color up more than they have. A lot of trees have just shed their leaves without ever taking on much of any color. Thanks for commenting!

LOL friends! No, it's not that unusual. Sometimes frost holds off until November, but that's almost here anyway. We're supposed to get a hard freeze Friday night. Let's see if this winter is any colder than normal. Thanks for commenting!

Holy WUH! Isn't that a little unusual for you, this time of year, that far south??

Actually, Arlene, we had a very light frost Sunday morning; my son said he had to scrape his car window before he could drive. Might have been another light frost Monday, but none of us were up early enough to notice. Supposed to be a hard freeze Friday night, so anything left in the garden that I still want, I am busy getting in. Thanks for your comment!
