Thanks, Joan; there was even a little suggestion of a sun pillar in there. These photos are all only lightly saturated with no other processing. Waking early and seeing that glow gets my creative juices flowing!

Depends what kind of weather you like, John! I lived in MN for years, and I remember falls where we didn't see the sun for weeks at a time, rain and wind stripped the autumn leaves off the trees, it rained all the time... Thanks, but I like it here in NC better. Thanks for commenting!
