Shirley, I have no philosophical stand against spraying chemicals, use them in the garden when needed, but in this case it would simply be impractical. They're just a nuisance whose time will pass. See my later photos for a little drama when I tried to enlist a spider to help with the stink bugs.

True - My son first had ladybugs for several
years, then he had stinkbugs, then ladybugs,
and so far has not had stinkbugs this year.
But was just reading that they come out in
fall. Surely hope they don't come this fall.
He does not believe in spraying with chemicals.
