Thanks, Joan! That's the saying, but it doesn't always bear out around here. It was a dull gray day all that day, with a sprinkle of rain, and only a little sunshine morning and evening when the sun was at the horizon. And we have no large bodies of water, just small rivers, stock ponds, and a handful of small lakes.

Fantastic shot! Yes, they say "Red sky at night, sailor's delight; Red sky at morn, sailors take warning. It makes sense that the sky turned dark with clouds and probably created choppy waves in any large bodies of water around you.
