Really artistic use of trees and fence. Think I like this one best! 10 from SW Iowa

Thanks for your comments and feedback, ladies! I sorta thought the silhouettes in this picture added a lot to the composition and framing, but it's largely a matter of personal taste, perhaps... after all, a plain sky at sunset can be very colorful, but without anything much in the foreground, would be rather uninteresting. As witness my AC photo of last summer titled Welcoming Committee.

This is a fantastic shot with the fence Kathy, but I agree with Charlotte - more lovely color in the AC shot!

Fence silhouette is nice in this one but I like the more open sky on the other one because it shows more of that beautiful sky

Either one would have done, Julia; I was just surprised when this sat here all night and got no notice. As I said, the process seems pretty arbitrary. Thanks for your kind words!

I may be an idiot when it comes to photography,
but I would have picked this one for the AC.

This is truly gorgeous between lighting and the
marvelous composition. Those silhouettes really
make this scene.

I LIKE ... no ... I LOVE this shot!

Thanks for your comments, Pat, Genie, and Diti! I have no idea why this was not considered for an AC. It seems like an almost entirely arbitrary process.

Very beautiful! I wondered why it didn't get an AC?
