Caption: Though I see these dainty little birds often enough, I've never been able to capture them with camera. Today maybe I got lucky; had my macro lens on and the tiny thing hovered long enough for me to get four shots that actually show the bird as something more than a blur. Sorry this is not the best, but it's a quantum leap from my past efforts.

Like a little Harrier jet fighter, he can fly in any direction. At least this shot reminds me of.

Amazing that you got the little guy to pose for you. Even so, you had to be really fast on that shutter button. Great capture!

Thank you, Kim; if I'd had my regular lens I might have had time to zoom in on him instead of cropping the picture. I have lots of flowers that attract them, but they're SO fast! My camera can't focus or be focused that quickly.
