Uploaded by: ChrisAnthemum — Saturday January 5, 2013 — Pilot Mountain, NC (Current Weather Conditions)

This afternoon I went up to Pilot Mountain for the first time since the fire in October. While it appeared most of the trees and shrubs survived better than I thought they would, still, some areas were more badly burned than others, and this area where the rocks overhang was one of the latter.
