Caption: Accidentally sprayed this baby lizard with weed killer while treating the parking apron behind our house, so I rinsed him off and took his picture before setting him free on the other side of the house. Must have been a hatching of them in the gravel; this is only a few feet from where I found the other one I photographed a few days ago. A baby fence swift, common enough hereabouts.

Thanks, Julie! I'm not sure the spray would have harmed him, but I took care to wash it off anyway, just as I do when I get any on my own hands or skin anywhere else.
