Gosh, what kind of idjits go setting leg-hold traps and leaving them for non-target animals and birds to step in? I found a crow caught in a leg-hold trap in a ditch like this when I was a girl about 9. I don't think I could ever have pried those rusty jaws apart if a man hadn't stopped to help me.

Great news, we did get the Heron released from
the trap and it was only caught by it's toes.
Check link below for very short video of the
release. I was holding the rod hubby had used
to snag the trap and hit the record button on
my camera. Yes, I sound so very country, lol.
