Blue Columbine in the Rain

Stoughton, WI (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: Sitting on my deck in the rain probably looked odd to my neighbors, but who cares. It's my flower, temporarily, and my camera, and my hair getting wet!

Beautiful shot of one of my favorite flowers! BTW, are you related to Vicki France? She used to post really good pics on here from Wisconsin also? I believe she was from Mt. Horeb, WI.

Gorgeous image, Betty! You captured the moment so well. I, too, have caused alarm from passersby when they see an "old lady" down on the ground. Guess they think we might not be able to get up again! *smile* Kudos, and AC congratulations to you!

Thanks for braving the elements to get this shot!!! All those non-photogs don't have a clue what they are missing...just ignore 'em and keep the beauty coming.

This is beautiful! Is it possible for a
columbine to change over time. This is
how I recall mine being at first but this
year it was completely blue! Great shot
and the red flowers in the background
give it a patriotic aura. Congratulations!
