A Life long Alaskan and a 3'rd generation Alaskan to boot, I enjoy snowmachining, aviation, and photography. I got into amateur photography over the past 5 years and am always learning. I like to say any good picture I take is a mistake and I've made a few mistakes in my life. One of my favorite things to make in photography is panoramic pictures. It takes special software to create them and large format printers to produce them. I have also learned the art and craft of matting and framing my own work so now I have several large panoramic prints hanging around my office and house. Create your own visitor map!

Caption: 24 hours ago on April 25th I could see my entire lawn, grass was beginning to make the transition from its lovely shade of spring thaw brown to a more hopeful color of green. A previous record for April 25th of 1.8 inches has just been shattered. I have near 20 inches at my house. Fortunately I had not taken the snow plow off of my ATV for the season! I’ve got a little snow removal work to do now!
