The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
southern Yavapai County in west central Arizona...

* until 1045 PM MST

* at 743 PM MST... Doppler radar indicated as much as 3 inches of
heavy rain has fallen in an area 5 miles southwest of Walker.
As a result... flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Wagoner and Walnut Grove.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
Hassayampa river... Minnehaha creek... Turkey Creek...
milk creek... middlewater creek... Ash Creek.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

Turn around... dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in automobiles. Never drive your vehicle into areas
where the water covers the roadway. Flood waters are usually deeper

The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
central Yavapai County in west central Arizona...

* until 1015 PM MST

* at 715 PM MST... Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain has fallen in the area south of Prescott... including
Dewey-Humboldt and Walker. Parts of this area have already
received several inches of rainfall over the last couple days.
This will cause Urban and Small Stream flooding in the advisory
area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Dewey-Humboldt... Poland Junction... Ponderosa Park... Walker... Groom
Creek subdivision... Oak Knoll Village... Mayer... Spring Valley
... White Spar Campground... Lower Wolf Creek Campground... Lynx Lake
dam and upper Wolf Creek group campground.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
Granite creek... Butte Creek... Hassayampa river...
Agua Fria river... big bug creek.
