Thursday morning...

The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of east central Kansas... north
central Kansas and northeast Kansas... including the following
areas... in east central Kansas... Douglas... Geary... Shawnee and
Wabaunsee. In north central Kansas... Clay... cloud... Republic
and Washington. In northeast Kansas... Brown... Jackson...
Jefferson... Marshall... Nemaha... Pottawatomie and Riley.

* From 7 PM CDT this evening through Thursday morning

* thunderstorms will become widespread tonight and could move over
the same areas repeatedly. Excessive rains resulting in flooding
could occur in and close to the watch area tonight.
