Areal Flood Advisory
Statement as of 11:27 PM EDT on June 29, 2015

The National Weather Service in Morristown has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
north central Knox County in east Tennessee...
central Anderson County in east Tennessee...
Morgan County in east Tennessee...

* until 130 am EDT

* at 1124 PM EDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to a
persistent area of showers and thunderstorms. This will cause
Urban and Small Stream flooding in the advisory area. One to two
inches of rain has already fallen across parts of the advisory
area.

* Some locations that may experience flooding include... Oak
Ridge... Clinton... Wartburg... Oliver Springs... Sunbright... Frozen
Head S.P... .Rosedale... Petros... deerlodge... High Point and
Coalfield.

Additional rainfall of one half or more inches of rain is expected
over the area. This additional rain will cause minor flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams... as well as farm and country roads. Do not
attempt to travel across flooded roads. Find alternate routes.

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely. Move to higher ground.
