... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 9 am to 7 PM
EST Tuesday...

* locations... central Virginia and southern Maryland.

* Hazard types... snow... sleet and freezing rain.

* Accumulations... snow and sleet accumulation of up to 1
inch... along with a trace of ice.

* Timing... wintry precipitation will begin Tuesday morning over
areas near the Blue Ridge... and by late morning or early
afternoon over southern Maryland.

* Impacts... roads will be snow and ice covered. Traveling will be
dangerous.

* Winds... south 5 to 10 mph.

* Temperatures... around 30.
