Craig County in southwestern Virginia...
northwestern Botetourt County in west central Virginia...
southwestern Alleghany County in west central Virginia...
eastern Monroe County in southeastern West Virginia...

* until 930 PM EDT

* at 635 PM EDT... Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream
flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will result in minor
flooding in the advisory area.

* Expect the following creeks or streams to have minor flooiding...
Johns Creek...
Laurel Creek...
Wilson branch...
and toms branch.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
New Castle...

Paint Bank...

and Sinking Creek.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...
