Light rain and showers are becoming widespread now across portions of northwest Louisiana...but especially north central and northeast Louisiana. The rainfall was located mainly along and east of a line from near the Toledo Bend dam...to near Coushatta and Homer Louisiana...to near El Dorado and Camden Arkansas. This large area of precipitation was moving to the northeast near 25 mph. Elsewhere...isolated showers were noted in and around the Texarkana area to near hope Arkansas. Through the next couple hours... embedded thunderstorms will be possible...mainly across northeast Louisiana. Rainfall amounts will range from near one tenth to one quarter of an inch per hour with any thunderstorm activity that develops.
