Winter Storm Warning
Issued: 12:58 PM EST Feb. 9, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 am EST
Wednesday...

* hazard types... snow.

* Snow accumulations... 4 to 8 inches.

* Timing... snow will probably become heavy at times later this
afternoon and evening before tapering to flurries later
tonight.

* Impacts... accumulating wet snow will significantly affect travel
later this afternoon and evening. Road conditions will likely
deteriorate during times of heavier snowfall rates. Remember...
bridges and other elevated surfaces tend to become slippery
first.

* Temperatures... within several degrees of 30.

* Winds... northeast 5 to 10 mph.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow are
expected. This will make travel very hazardous at times. Use
caution while driving... especially on bridges and other elevated
Road surfaces.

Report snow accumulation to the National Weather Service by
calling our trained spotter line... posting to the NWS Mount
Holly facebook Page... or using twitter @nws_mountholly.

Snowfall and ice accumulation forecast maps in addition to
experimental probabilistic snowfall information for the latest
event are available online at www.Weather.Gov/phi/winter

Coastal Flood Advisory
Issued: 1:04 PM EST Feb. 9, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 5 PM EST this
afternoon...

* location... the tidal section of the Delaware River and its
tidal tributaries.

* Coastal flooding... minor flooding is expected around the times
of high tide this afternoon.

* Timing... high tide works its way up the tidal Delaware River
between 1230 PM and 330 PM.

* Impacts... considerable roadway flooding is anticipated. Some
roads may be closed due to high water.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A coastal Flood Advisory means that minor tidal flooding is
expected. Minor tidal flooding often results in some Road
closures. Usually... the most vulnerable roadways will flood.

Do not leave your vehicle at a location that is prone to tidal
flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flood waters. The
water may be deeper than you think it is. You will be putting
yourself in danger and your vehicle may be damaged... leading to
costly repairs.
