The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Arroyo and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
southeastern Lincoln County in central New Mexico...
southwestern Chaves County in southeastern New Mexico...

* until 400 PM MDT

* at 200 PM MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Up to one inch of rain has
already fallen across southeast Lincoln and southwest Chaves
counties with another inch or so possible through 4 PM MDT.
Normally dry arroyos will turn to sudden and rapid water flows.
There will be ponding of water on roads.

* Locations impacted include...
Ruidoso... Lincoln... Capitan... Picacho... Fort Stanton... Arabela...
Hondo... Lincoln state Monument... smokey bear historical park and
Dunken.

Other locations affected include the following locations
Two Rivers dam... Roswell correctional facility... smokey bear
historical park... and Lincoln state Monument.
