... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 4 PM Monday to 7 PM EST
Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Caribou has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 4 PM Monday
to 7 PM EST Tuesday.

* Locations... portions of downeast Maine and the Bangor region.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches.

* Snow accumulations... 4 to 8 inches.

* Timing... snow will begin late Monday afternoon and continue
into Tuesday evening.

* Impacts... roads will become snow covered and slippery during the
afternoon commute and continue into Tuesday.

* Winds... north 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Temperatures... in the lower 20s.

* Visibilities... a half mile or less at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
