Watch for critical fire weather conditions... which is in effect
from Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening.

* Affected area... Coos... Grafton... Carroll... Oxford...
Sullivan... Franklin... Merrimack... central and southern
Somerset... Belknap... Cheshire... and Hillsborough counties.

* Winds... southwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph through
early evening... and west at 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25
mph Tuesday afternoon through evening.

* Timing... this afternoon through the evening for the red flag
warning. Tuesday afternoon through evening for the Fire Weather
Watch.

* Relative humidity... as low as 25 percent.

evening... and in the upper 60s to mid 70s Tuesday.

* Lightning... none.

* Impacts... any fires may spread rapidly and uncontrollably.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds... low relative humidity... and warm temperatures will
create explosive fire growth potential.

A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
red flag warnings.
