The Flood Warning continues for
the Tombigbee river near LeRoy
* from after midnight tomorrow until further notice.
* At 10 PM Saturday the stage was 23.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 24 feet.
* Forecast to rise above flood stage by after midnight tomorrow and continue to
rise near 25.4 feet by Thursday early afternoon. Additional rises are possible
thereafter.
* At 24 feet... flooding of low lying farm and pasturelands in the area will
occur. Cattle in low lying areas may need to be moved to higher ground.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Tombigbee river near Coffeeville dam
* until further notice.
* At 10 PM Saturday the stage was 30.3 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 29 feet.
* The river will continue rising to near 30.9 feet by Thursday morning.
Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* At 29 feet... pastureland in the area will become flooded and livestock need to
be moved to higher ground.

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 7 am CDT Sunday...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of Alabama and southeast Mississippi... including the
following areas... in Alabama... Choctaw... Clarke... Monroe...
Washington and Wilcox. In southeast Mississippi... George...
Greene... Perry... stone and Wayne.

* Until 7 am CDT Sunday

* what and where... showers and thunderstorms are expected to
develop across the area through tonight. The heavier storms
may produce up to 2 to 4 inches of rainfall which may lead to
flash flooding.

* Impacts... possible Road closures. Local creek flooding... as
well as water flowing over roadways will develop in areas that
receive the highest rain.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
