Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 9:44 PM PST Feb. 8, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect from 3 am to 10 am PST Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Hanford has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect from 3 am to 10 am PST Tuesday.

* Visibilities... less than one quarter mile.

* Location... mainly along and west of Highway 99 in the San
Joaquin Valley. Highways affected include Highway 41 from south
of Fresno to Stratford... Highway 43... Highway 198 in Kings
County... Highway 180 west of Fresno... and many secondary roads.

* Timing... areas of dense fog are expected to develop late
tonight and persist through mid-morning Tuesday.

* Impacts... locally dense fog with visibilities less than one quarter
mile will create hazardous driving conditions. Drive with
caution... slow down and use low-beam headlights.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
