... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 845 PM PDT for San
Bernardino County...

At 632 PM PDT... Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms have
diminished across the warned area for the time being. However...
flash flooding will remain possible over the next hour near
Adelanto... and downstream of the Wrightwood and Big Pines area.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Victorville... Wrightwood... Hwy 2 between Phelan and Wrightwood...
Adelanto... El Mirage... Hwy 138 between I-15 and Hwy 2... Phelan... Oro
Grande and Helendale.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.

... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 930 PM PDT for
central San Bernardino County...

At 757 PM PDT... heavy rain has ended in the warned area however
excessive runoff from earlier storms caused flash flooding on
Interstate 15 west of Baker. Chp reports lingering effects from the
flooding on the Interstate including water... mud and debris. These
Road hazards have created traffic problems that will likely persist
over the next several hours. Travelers are urged to check Road
conditions prior to heading out and be prepared for delays.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Never try to cross a flooded Road or enter a flood channel. Turn
around... dont drown! Report flooding to the Las Vegas National
Weather Service via facebook or twitter.

eastern San Bernardino County...

At 738 PM PDT... heavy rain has ended in the warned area
however... excessive runoff from earlier storms will continue to
impact Essex Road and the National trails Highway near Essex.
Travelers along either of these roads should use caution and be
prepared to encounter flood water over the roadways.

Some locations that will experience flooding include... the National
trails Highway west of Essex and Essex Road northwest out of Essex.

Flash flooding is expected in washes... low water crossings and on
roads. To escape rising water... move to higher ground. Never try to
cross a flooded Road or enter a flood channel. Turn around... dont

south central San Bernardino County in Southern California...

* until 1030 PM PDT

* at 724 PM PDT... Doppler radar indicated a a nearly stationary
strong thunderstorm west of Amboy producing very heavy rain. Flash
flooding is expected along portions of the National trails Highway
west of Amboy and Amboy Road south of Amboy.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... the
National trails Highway between Ludlow and Amboy and Amboy Road.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Flash flooding is expected in washes... low water crossings and on
roads. To escape rising water... move to higher ground. Never try to
cross a flooded Road or enter a flood channel. Turn around... dont

... Flash Flood Watch in effect from 3 am PDT Thursday through
Thursday evening...

The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of southwest
California... including the following areas... San Gorgonio Pass
near Banning... apple and Lucerne valleys... Coachella
Valley... Riverside County mountains... San Bernardino County
mountains... San Bernardino and Riverside County valleys-the
inland Empire... San Diego County deserts and San Diego County
mountains.

* From 3 am PDT Thursday through Thursday evening.

* Plentiful monsoon moisture and instability will bring the chance
for thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall which could result in
flash flooding for most of Thursday. An upper level disturbance
could bring heavy rains and thunderstorms early Thursday
morning... and then slower moving thunderstorms are expected to
develop over the mountains... deserts and the inland Empire
during the late morning and afternoon hours... and persist into
the early evening hours.

* Recent burn scars will be particularly susceptible to flash
flooding and debris flows.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
