412 PM PDT Thu Jul 30 2015

... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 615 PM PDT for
the mountains and Antelope Valley in northeastern
Los Angeles County...

At 412 PM PDT... Doppler radar and automated rain gauges continued to
indicate thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the warned area.
Flash flooding will likely continue to impact the warning area if
not already occurring. The Big Pines Recreation Park rain gauge
reported almost one half inch of rainfall in 7 minutes. The storm is
now moving toward Highway 138 between Pearblossom and Llano... where
additional flash flooding is expected.

Excessive rainfall over the Pine burn scar will result in debris
flow moving through local drainages. The debris flow can consist of
rock... mud... vegetation and other loose materials.

Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lake Los
Angeles... Wrightwood... Pearblossom... Llano... Valyermo... Angeles
crest Highway between mount Waterman and Wrightwood... Highway 138
between Llano and the San Bernardino County line... and Big Pines.

Turn around... dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Move away from recently burned areas. Life threatening flooding of
creeks... roads and normally dry arroyos is likely. The heavy rains
will likely trigger Rockslides... mudslides and debris flows in steep
terrain... especially in and around these areas.
