The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Arroyo and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
northeastern Guadalupe County in east central New Mexico...
eastern San Miguel County in northeastern New Mexico...
southwestern Quay County in east central New Mexico...

* until 700 PM MDT

* at 453 PM MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
heavy rain due to a line of thunderstorms crossing eastern San
Miguel and Guadalupe counties into western Quay County. Stronger
storms in this line are producing rain at a rate near 1 inch per
half hour.

* Locations impacted include...
Tucumcari... Quay... Montoya... Conchas Dam... Conchas... Conchas Lake
State Park... Ragland... Newkirk and Bell Ranch.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 294 and 341.

Other locations affected include Conchas Dam.

River Valley... northeast Highlands... northern Sangre de Cristos
above 9500 feet/Red River... northwest Highlands... Quay County...
Raton ridge/Johnson Mesa... San Francisco River Valley... San Juan
Mountains... Sandia/Manzano Mountains... Santa Fe Metro area...

rainfall over the past few days.
