... A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 815 PM MST
for central Maricopa County...

At 754 PM MST... Doppler radar continued to indicate a severe
thunderstorm capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60
mph. This storm was located over Mesa and was nearly stationary.
Very heavy rain will also accompany the damaging winds.

Locations impacted include...

Mesa... Tempe... Falcon Field Airport... Salt River Indian community
and south Scottsdale.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Severe thunderstorms produce damaging winds... deadly lightning and
very heavy rain. For your protection move to an interior room on the
lowest floor of your home or business. Heavy rains flood roads
quickly so do not drive into areas where water covers the Road.

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
east central Maricopa County in south central Arizona...
central Pinal County in southeastern Arizona...

* until 1015 PM MST

* at 714 PM MST... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause Urban and Small Stream flooding in
the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Florence... Coolidge... san tan valley... Apache Junction... Queen
Creek... Mesa... Tempe.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Advisory means ponding of water in urban or other areas is
occurring or is imminent and normally dry washes will be running. Do
not attempt to travel across flooded roads.
