A mixture of light freezing rain...light snow and light freezing drizzle will move northeast across the southern and eastern Texas Panhandle and also the eastern Oklahoma Panhandle through 10 am. Patchy freezing fog can also be expected across the southern and eastern Texas Panhandle and the eastern Oklahoma Panhandle this morning. Through 10 am CST...most of the light freezing rain...light snow and light freezing drizzle will affect locations mainly along and southeast of a line from Glenrio to Stinnett to Turpin. Any accumulations from the snow will be light...generally around a trace to up to an inch through the morning hours. Accumulations from the freezing rain or freezing drizzle will be around a trace to a tenth of an inch. Roadways could become slick...especially on bridges and overpasses...from the snow and ice resulting in hazardous travel conditions.

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until midnight CST
tonight...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and freezing drizzle remains in
effect until midnight CST tonight.

* Event... a mix of light snow and freezing drizzle is expected this
morning. Light ice accumulations from freezing drizzle will be
possible. A transition to all snow is expected by midday today with
total snow accumulations ranging from 1 to 2 inches. Locally higher
amounts may be possible.

* Timing... a mix of light snow and freezing drizzle will continue
this morning. Snow will become the dominant precipitation type by
late morning or midday today. Snow will end this evening.

* Impacts... roads and bridges will likely be snow packed and
icy... resulting in hazardous travel conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
