The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
Potter County in the Panhandle of Texas...
Randall County in the Panhandle of Texas...

* until 500 am CDT

* at 207 am CDT... Amarillo/Potter/Randall emergency management
reported Playa Lake flooding in and around Amarillo. Measured
rainfall of 1 to 2 inches of rain have fallen over parts
of the warned area in the past 6 hours with additional light rain
possible over the next few hours. Playa Lake flooding will
take several hours to diminish.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
canyon... Amarillo... Umbarger...
Palo Duro Canyon... Lake Tanglewood... valley de Oro...
Bushland... Timbercreek Canyon...

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Playa Lake floods are occurring at the greenways playa... Lawrence
