... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until midnight CST
tonight...

A Winter Weather Advisory for light snow and freezing drizzle remains
in effect until midnight CST tonight.

* Event... light snow and freezing drizzle will continue into the
evening. Across the southeast portion of the Texas Panhandle an
additional one to three inches of snow accumulation is expected.
Across the southwestern portion of the Texas Panhandle snow
accumulation of around one inch or less is expected. Sleet may
occasionally mix with the snow.

* Timing... precipitation is expected to end by mid to late
evening.

* Impacts... hazardous travel conditions will continue through
the afternoon as many roads remain slick from snow and ice.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
