... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 745 am CDT for
eastern Fayette County...

At 615 am CDT... Doppler radar indicated the rains have ended across
eastern Fayette County. Doppler radar estimates showed that up to
three inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding will
continue for the next hour or so due to rapid runoff of earlier
heavy rains due to saturated soils. This is in addition to the
ongoing river flooding.

La Grange... Fayetteville... Round Top... Carmine... Holman...
Nechanitz... Walhalla... High Hill... Swiss Alp... Winedale...
Warrenton... Dubina... Ellinger... Rek Hill... Waldeck... Ammannsville...

the Flood Warning continues for the Colorado River above La Grange.
* At 3:00 am Tuesday the stage was 26.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by early this morning and continue to rise
to near 36.5 feet by this evening. The riverwill fall below flood stage by
Thursday morning.
* Impact... at 37.0 feet... major flooding of the Colorado River reaches lowest
homes in the fritsch auf subdivision on the South Bank of the Colorado River
in La Grange. Severely flooded roads and bridges near the river make travel
and evacuations very dangerous..

the Flood Warning continues for the Colorado River near Smithville.
* At 3:00 am Tuesday the stage was 23.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 27.6 feet by this evening.
The river will fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.
* Impact... at 28.0 feet... major flooding inundates homes five miles upstream in
Hidden Valley Estates, three miles upstream in Doty River Estates, one mile
upstream in Pecan shores estates just above Smithville and in Kirtley below
Smithville..
