Statement as of 12:01 PM CDT on May 27, 2015

... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 130 PM CDT for
east central Hays and south central Travis counties...

At 1153 am CDT... Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that between 1 and 2 inches of rain has fallen across south central
Travis County and east central Hays County... between Buda and Sunset
Valley... with isolated pockets of 2 1/2 inches just northwest of
Tanglewood Forest.

Flash flooding is occurring across some low water crossing in the
area. While rainfall has ended... runoff from earlier heavy rainfall
will continue the flash flooding threat of low water crossing.

Some locations that will experience flooding include... Tanglewood
Forest... Little Bear Creek... Slaughter Creek... Barton creek... Sunset
Valley... Hays... Lost Creek and Manchaca.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

Turn around... dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
