... Flood Warning extended until Tuesday afternoon... the Flood Warning
continues for the Frio River at Tilden.
* From Saturday evening to Tuesday afternoon... or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 10:15 am Friday the stage was 10.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* Forecast: rise above flood stage by tomorrow evening and continue
to rise to near 23.1 feet by Sunday early afternoon. The river will
fall below flood stage by early Tuesday morning.

* At 22.0 feet, minor lowland flooding of crops and pastureland
occurs. Secondary roads and low bridges are also flooded.

The Flood Warning continues for the Nueces River near Three Rivers.
* From late Saturday night until further notice... or until the
warning is cancelled.
* At 10:15 am Friday the stage was 20.8 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* Forecast: rise above flood stage by early Sunday morning and
continue to rise to near 32.6 feet by Wednesday morning. Additional
rises are possible thereafter.

* At 32.0 feet, the Nueces River backs up minor creeks to near the
slab elevation of homes in the River Creek Acres subdivision, five
miles southeast of George West. Livestock are cut off and could drown
in low areas of the flood plain.

... Flash Flood Watch in effect from Saturday afternoon through
Sunday morning...

The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for a portion of south Texas... including the
following areas... Aransas... Bee... Calhoun... Duval... Goliad...
Jim Wells... Kleberg... La Salle... Live Oak... McMullen...
Nueces... Refugio... San Patricio... Victoria and Webb.

* From Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning

* there is a potential for heavy rainfall Saturday and Saturday
night over south Texas associated with a slow southward moving
frontal boundary. Rainfall rates may exceed flash flood
thresholds and result in widespread flash flooding.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
