Flash Flood Watch
Statement as of 3:25 PM CDT on May 29, 2015

... Flash Flood Watch in effect from Saturday afternoon through
Sunday morning...

The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for a portion of south Texas... including the
following areas... Aransas... Bee... Calhoun... Duval... Goliad...
Jim Wells... Kleberg... La Salle... Live Oak... McMullen...
Nueces... Refugio... San Patricio... Victoria and Webb.

* From Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning

* there is a potential for heavy rainfall Saturday and Saturday
night over south Texas associated with a slow southward moving
frontal boundary. Rainfall rates may exceed flash flood
thresholds and result in widespread flash flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
