Nowcast | as of 12:33 PM CDT on October 20, 2014

Through 230 PM CDT...scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue to affect portions of south Texas and the middle Texas coastal waters. The heavier activity is currently located over the coastal Bend. Rainfall should generally be moderate to heavy with rainfall amounts less than a half an inch an hour. However...higher rainfall amounts of one inch to two inches are possible with the heavier showers. Residents and mariners should also prepare for cloud to surface lightning...low visibilities and brief gusty winds with any thunderstorm that occurs.
