... Flood Warning extended until Saturday afternoon... the Flood Warning continues
for
the San Bernard River near Boling
* until Saturday afternoon... or until the warning is canceled.
* At 0901 PM Tuesday the stage was 20.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to a crest near 24.3 feet by late
Wednesday night into early Thursday morning.
* At 25.0 feet... significant backwater flooding up Peach Creek and minor
backwater flooding up west Bernard creek in Wharton County. Significant
backwater up Snake Creek threatens low lying areas in the tierra grande
subdivision.

the Brazos river near Rosharon
* until Saturday evening... or until the warning is canceled.
* At 0900 PM Tuesday the stage was 51.3 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 43.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river is currently at a flat broad crest between 51 and 51.5 feet.
Levels are expected to begin a slow fall Thursday.
* At 50.8 feet... moderate lowland flooding continues as minor flow passes
through the culvert near the Ramsey unit Prison Farm into Oyster Creek and
water flows over the flood plain into Oyster Creek.

the Brazos river in Richmond
* until Thursday morning... or until the warning is canceled.
* At 0815 PM Tuesday the stage was 49.9 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 48.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river is currently at a flat crest near 50 feet. Levels are
expected to begin a slow fall late tomorrow evening.
* At 49.8 feet... massive lowland flooding occurs with many homes in Simonton and
Thompsons flooded. There is major flow across the flood plain into Oyster
Creek near Harris Reservoir and the Ramsey unit Prison Farm.

ozone action day for the Houston... Galveston... and Brazoria areas for
Wednesday June 3 2015.

Atmospheric conditions are expected to be favorable for producing
high levels of ozone pollution in the Houston... Galveston and
surrounding areas on Wednesday. You can help prevent ozone
